Baarat

Baarat is the groom's grand processional arrival - a spectacular celebration rooted in ancient tradition that announces Nilesh's journey to claim his bride! Historically, this ceremony represents the groom as a prince or king arriving to wed his princess, often traveling great distances to reach her family's home. The tradition dates back centuries when grooms would literally journey on horseback through villages, announcing their arrival and seeking blessings from the community.

The white horse symbolizes purity and strength, while the procession represents the groom's courage and determination to protect and provide for his bride. In ancient times, this was also a way for the bride's family to assess the groom's character, wealth, and the support of his community - a groom arriving with a large, joyful procession was seen as a good match.

Today, the Baarat maintains this regal tradition with the groom arriving accompanied by his family and friends in a joyous parade filled with dhol players, dancing, and celebration. This vibrant procession winds its way to the wedding venue with music, flower petals, and pure excitement, honoring the historical significance while creating modern memories.

The Bharat is all about showing love and support for the groom as he embarks on this life-changing moment, continuing a tradition that has celebrated the union of families for generations.
