The Wedding

Three celebratory days of love uniting hearts,

cultures, and families
We are so excited you will be joining us to celebrate our love! The wedding will be combining Indian traditional wedding rituals and a Western wedding celebration - bringing together all beautiful cultures in our lives.
For the Indian wedding rituals guests are encouraged to wear Indian wedding attire - you'll find out more about the rituals and the accompanying attire below.

Sharing a high level schedule so you start to get a feeling for what the days will look like.

The Schedule & Ceremonies

Monday Feb 16 (optional)

On Monday there is the Path Bithai which is the opening ceremony of the wedding activities. There will be a ceremony and dinner. The festivities start around 4pm and will be followed by an informal dinner. It will be taking place at this party hall.

Tuesday Feb 17 (optional)

For everyone in town already we're gathering at a bar for some drinks after dinner around 9pm.

Location will follow

Thursday Feb 19

Morning 

Arrive at the resort around ~10am. There will be breakfast available and you can take the time to settle into your room. The Mehendi artists (Henna) will be available from the morning onwards.

  Note we are checking if can let everyone check-in the evening before to avoid traffic and give everyone a chill morning  - more info coming soon!

Afternoon

12:30 - 2pm Lunch  

3 - 5pm Haldi & festival

Evening

6:30pm onwards dinner & Sangeet

11pm onwards Afterparty

Get ready to glow! We'll cover the bride and groom in golden turmeric paste for luck, prosperity, and that perfect wedding radiance. It's a joyful, blessed ritual that kicks off the celebrations in style!

Sangeet

Bollywood dance party time! Families and friends compete in choreographed performances and everyone hits the dance floor. No skills required – just bring your energy and best moves!

Friday Feb 20

Morning 

Breakfast starts at 8am and will be available till 10am

10am-12:30pm Marriage rituals: Baarat, Varmala & Pheras

Afternoon

1-3pm Lunch 

The remainder of the afternoon you have some time to hang out & socialize

Evening

6:30pm onwards Dinner & Reception

Baarat

The groom's epic entrance! Music, dancing, and a grand procession as he arrives in style with his squad hyping him up. Pure celebratory chaos at its finest!

Varmala

The sacred garland exchange! The bride and groom place beautiful floral garlands around each other's necks, symbolizing their acceptance and mutual respect. A touching moment of connection before they begin their journey as one.

Pheras

Seven sacred steps around the holy fire, seven promises for a lifetime. The heart of the ceremony where two souls officially become one through ancient vows.

Reception

This elegant evening is about expressing thanks to our loved ones who made our journey possible, sharing our happiness through food and festivity, and creating the first memories as husband and wife surrounded by our community.

Saturday Feb 21

Morning 

Breakfast starts at 8am and will be available till 10am

Afternoon

At 12:30pm a light lunch will be available

Gather for the Dutch Wedding at ~3pm. We'll start with a small ceremony followed by sunset drinks & time to take pictures.

Evening

6:30pm onwards Dinner followed by the party

11pm Afterparty

The Dutch Wedding

East meets West! A beautiful fusion of Dutch and Indian traditions where tulips meet marigolds and two cultures celebrate love in perfect harmony.
